Harvesters Food Bank (2008)
Last October the Harvesters Food Bank pleaded for help, saying it was in desperate need of more food and funding on the local news channels. Therefore, the Kansas City Alumni Chapter stepped up to the plate and delivered about 250 can goods and about a dozen boxes of malt-to-meal and grits to the Harvesters Food Bank office prior to Thanksgiving.
